The issue
Issue: On certain motorcycles, the retaining clips that attach the footrests could break. As a result, a footrest could separate from the motorcycle. Safety Risk: A footrest that detaches from the motorcycle could increase the risk of injury and/or a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to inspect the retaining clips on the foot pegs. If one of the clips is found to be damaged, all four clips will be replaced.

Problème: Sur certaines motos, les attaches de retenue qui fixent les repose-pieds pourraient se casser. Par conséquent, un repose-pied pourrait se détacher de la moto. Risques pour la sécurité : Un repose-pieds qui se détache de la moto pourrait augmenter les risques de blessure et/ou d'accident. Mesures correctives : Le constructeur doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur moto chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter les attaches de retenue des repose-pieds. Si l'une des attaches est endommagée, les quatre attaches seront remplacées.
