The issue
Issue: On certain motorhomes, the propane gas line for the water heater was not properly positioned. If the motorhome hits a large bump or pothole, the rear tire could hit the propane line and cause it to leak. Safety Risk: A propane gas leak could create the risk of fire. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect the propane line and install a metal shield in the wheel well to protect it.

Problème : Dans certaines autocaravanes, la conduite de gaz propane du chauffe-eau a été mal positionnée. Si l'autocaravane roule sur une grosse bosse ou un nid-de-poule, le pneu arrière pourrait frapper la conduite de gaz propane et la briser. Risque pour la sécurité : Une fuite de gaz propane pourrait poser un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Le constructeur doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste d'apporter leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter la conduite de gaz propane et faire installer un écran métallique dans le logement de roue pour la protéger.
