The issue

Issue: On certain cars, the bolts that attach the driver-front airbag may not be tightened correctly. As a result, the airbag could become loose. If you continue to operate the vehicle with a loose airbag, it may detach from the steering wheel. Safety Risk: An airbag that is loose or detaches from the steering wheel could create an increased risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Hyundai will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your car to a dealer to inspect the driver-front airbag mounting bolts and tighten them, if necessary.

Problème : Sur certaines voitures, les boulons de fixation du coussin gonflable avant du conducteur pourraient ne pas être serrés correctement. En conséquence, le coussin gonflable pourrait se desserrer. Si vous conduisez un véhicule avec un coussin gonflable desserré, celui-ci pourrait se détacher du volant. Risques pour la sécurité : Un coussin gonflable qui se détache du volant peut augmenter les risques de blessures lors d'une collision. Mesures correctives : Hyundai doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur voiture chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter les boulons de fixation du coussin gonflable avant du conducteur et, au besoin, les faire serrer.
