The issue

Issue: On certain travel trailers, the roof vent for the refrigerator was not installed. This could lead to a build-up of carbon monoxide or cause a fire. Safety Risk: A build-up of carbon monoxide could result in asphyxiation or carbon monoxide poisoning. Additionally, a missing vent could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your travel trailer to a dealer to install the missing refrigerator vent.

Problème : Sur certaines caravanes classiques, l'évent de toit du réfrigérateur n'a pas été installé, ce qui pourrait entraîner une accumulation de monoxyde de carbone ou provoquer un incendie. Risques pour la sécurité : Une accumulation de monoxyde de carbone pourrait entraîner une asphyxie ou un empoisonnement au monoxyde de carbone. De plus, un évent manquant pourrait créer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Forest River doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur caravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire installer l'évent de réfrigérateur manquant.
