The issue

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the instrument cluster does not have an antilock brake system (ABS) malfunction warning lamp. As a result, there is no warning to the rider if the ABS turns off due to a malfunction. Safety Risk: If a rider is not warned that the ABS is not working properly, there could be an increased risk of a crash. Corrective Action: Royal Enfield will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to replace the instrument cluster.

Problème : Sur certaines motocyclettes, le groupe d'instruments ne comprend pas de voyant d'avertissement de défaillance du système antiblocage (ABS). Par conséquent, le conducteur n'est pas averti si le système ABS est désactivé en raison d'une défaillance. Risques pour la sécurité : Si le conducteur n'est pas averti que le système ABS ne fonctionne pas correctement, il peut y avoir un risque accru d'accident. Mesures correctives : Royal Enfield doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur motocyclette chez un concessionnaire pour remplacer le groupe d'instruments.
