The issue

Issue: Certain fifth-wheel trailers were built without an emergency exit window. If the entry door is blocked in an emergency situation, there would be no way to exit the trailer. Safety Risk: If the entry door is not accessible and there is no emergency exit, there could be an increased risk of injury in an emergency. Corrective Actions: Winnebago will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealer to install an escape window in the bedroom.

Problème : Certaines caravanes à sellette ont été construites sans fenêtre de secours. Si la porte d'entrée est bloquée dans une situation d'urgence, il n'y aurait aucun moyen de sortir de la caravane. Risques pour la sécurité : Si la porte d'entrée n'est pas accessible et qu'il n'y a pas de sortie de secours, il pourrait y avoir un risque accru de blessures en cas d'urgence. Mesures correctives : Winnebago doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur caravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire installer une fenêtre de secours dans la chambre.
