The issue
Issue: On certain trailer-mounted boom lifts, the bolts used to connect the tongue to the chassis of the trailer may not have been properly tightened. As a result, the bolts could loosen and the tongue structure may separate from the main chassis. Safety Risk: The separation of the trailer tongue may increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and provide you with directions to tighten the trailer tongue bolts to 122 N m (90 lb-ft).

Problème : Sur certaines nacelles élévatrices sur remorque, les boulons utilisés pour raccorder la flèche d'attelage au châssis de la remorque pourraient ne pas avoir été bien serrés. Par conséquent, les boulons pourraient se desserrer et la flèche d'attelage pourrait se séparer du châssis principal. Risques pour la sécurité : Cela pourrait accroître les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Le constructeur doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et lui fournir les instructions pour serrer les boulons de la flèche d'attelage de la remorque au couple de 122 Nm (90 lb-pi).
