The issue
Issue: On certain trucks equipped with a gas engine, the exhaust pipe studs and nuts may not have been properly tightened. As a result, the exhaust pipe connection could loosen over time and create an exhaust leak in the engine compartment. Safety Risk: An exhaust leak in the engine compartment could damage components and create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Mitsubishi Fuso will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to tighten the exhaust studs and nuts. If you hear any abnormal exhaust noise, or if any engine warning lamps turn on, Mitsubishi Fuso recommends that you should safely exit the roadway and shut the engine off.

Problème : Sur certains camions équipés d'un moteur à essence, les goujons et écrous du tuyau d'échappement peuvent ne pas avoir été bien serrés. Par conséquent, ces dispositifs de fixation pourraient se desserrer à la longue et cela pourrait entraîner une fuite du système d'échappement dans le compartiment moteur. Risques pour la sécurité : Une fuite du système d'échappement dans le compartiment moteur pourrait endommager les composants et créer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Mitsubishi Fuso doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur camion chez un concessionnaire pour serrer les goujons et les écrous du tuyau d'échappement. Si vous entendez un bruit d'échappement anormal ou si un témoin lumineux lié au moteur s'allume, Mitsubishi Fuso recommande de s'arrêter à un endroit sécuritaire et de couper le moteur.
