The issue

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the exhaust valve cable could make contact with the main battery wiring. This could damage the wiring and cause a short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Ducati will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to install a cable guide and secure the exhaust butterfly valve cable.

Problème : Sur certaines motos, le câble de la soupape d'échappement pourrait entrer en contact avec le câblage de la batterie principale, ce qui pourrait endommager le câblage et provoquer un court-circuit. Risques pour la sécurité : Un court-circuit pourrait créer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Ducati doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur moto chez un concessionnaire pour faire installer un guide-câble et fixer le câble de la valve papillon d'échappement.
