The issue
Issue: Under certain conditions, the antilock brake system (ABS) and the dynamic stability control (DSC) may be disabled when you start the vehicle. If this happens, the ABS and DSC warning lights will turn on in the instrument cluster, along with message center text to alert the driver. Safety Risk: If the stability control system and antilock brake system are disabled, there could be an increased risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Jaguar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the vehicle with the latest software.

Problème : Dans certaines conditions, le système de freinage antiblocage (ABS) et l'électro-stabilisateur programmé (ESP) peuvent être désactivés lorsque vous démarrez le véhicule. Si cela se produit, les voyants de l'ABS et de l'ESP s'allumeront dans le groupe d'instruments et un texto sera envoyé au centre de messages pour avertir le conducteur. Risques pour la sécurité : Si l'ESP et l'ABS sont désactivés, cela pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Jaguar doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour faire mettre à jour le logiciel du véhicule.
