The issue
Issue: On certain trucks, the starter interrupt feature may not be properly connected. As a result, it may be possible to start the truck with the transmission in drive or reverse gear. If this happens, the truck could move suddenly when it is started. Safety Risk: Sudden and unexpected movement of the truck could create a risk of injury or a crash. Corrective Actions: PACCAR will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer for an inspection. The transmission and chassis wiring harnesses will be properly connected, if required.

Problème : Sur certains camions, la fonctionnalité d'interruption de démarrage pourrait être mal branchée. Par conséquent, il pourrait être possible de faire démarrer le camion lorsque la boîte de vitesse se trouve en position de conduite ou en marche arrière. Si cela se produit, le camion pourrait bouger soudainement au démarrage.
