The issue

Issue: On certain vehicles, the hinges for the rear liftgate may not have been manufactured correctly. As a result, the hinges could fail and separate in a rear crash. Safety risk: A liftgate that opens or separates in a crash could create an increased risk of injury. Corrective actions: Nissan will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the rear liftgate hinges.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules, les charnières du hayon arrière pourraient ne pas avoir été fabriquées correctement. Elles pourraient donc se briser et se détacher lors d'une collision arrière. Risques pour la sécurité : Un hayon qui s'ouvre ou qui se détache lors d'un accident peut augmenter le risque de blessures. Mesures correctives : Nissan doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour faire remplacer les charnières du hayon arrière.
