The issue

Issue: On certain motorcycles, a bellow gasket in the clutch slave cylinder can be damaged. If this happens, the clutch may not disengage when the clutch lever is pulled in. This can cause the motorcycle to continue moving forward when you try to stop. It can also cause the motorcycle to move if you start it when the transmission is not in neutral (N). Safety Risk: A clutch that does not disengage could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. A motorcycle that moves suddenly when you try to start or stop it can create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to inspect and replace the clutch slave cylinder.

Problème : Sur certaines motocyclettes, un joint à soufflets dans le cylindre récepteur d'embrayage pourrait être endommagé. Si cela se produit, l'embrayage pourrait ne pas se désengager lorsque le levier d'embrayage est tiré. La motocyclette pourrait alors continuer d'avancer lorsque le conducteur tente de freiner. La motocyclette pourrait aussi se déplacer si elle est démarrée lorsque la transmission n'est pas au point mort (N). Risques pour la sécurité : Un embrayage ne se désengage pas pourrait entraîner une perte de maîtrise, ainsi qu'augmenter les risques d'accident. Une motocyclette qui se déplace soudainement lorsque le conducteur essaie de la démarrer ou de l'arrêter peut créer un risque de blessure. Mesures correctives : L'entreprise doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur motocyclette chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter le cylindre récepteur d'embrayage et le remplacer.
