The issue

Issue: Under certain conditions, the pre-collision system may automatically switch on the hazard warning lights in a non-emergency situation. Safety Risk: Hazard warning lights that switch on in a non-emergency situation may confuse other drivers, and could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Porsche will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to reprogram the vehicle. This will remove the automatic hazard warning light function.

Problème : Dans certaines conditions, le système pré-collision pourrait allumer automatiquement les feux de détresse dans une situation non urgente. Risques pour la sécurité : Si les feux de détresse s'allument dans une situation non urgente, cela pourrait désorienter les autres conducteurs et augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Porsche doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour reprogrammer le véhicule. Cela supprimera la fonction de feux de détresse automatiques.
