The issue

Issue: On certain vehicles, the driver-front airbag may catch the steering wheel cover when it inflates. If this happens, the airbag could tear and may not inflate properly. Safety Risk: An airbag that does not inflate properly could create an increased risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Tesla will notify owners by email and advise you to schedule an appointment with Tesla Service to replace the driver-front airbag.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules, le coussin gonflable avant du conducteur pourrait accrocher la housse de volant lorsqu'il se gonfle. Si cela se produit, le coussin gonflable pourrait se déchirer et ne pas se gonfler adéquatement. Risques pour la sécurité : Un coussin gonflable qui ne se gonfle pas adéquatement pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures en cas d'accident. Mesures correctives : Tesla doit aviser les propriétaires par courriel et leur demander de prendre rendez-vous avec Tesla Service pour faire remplacer le coussin gonflable avant du conducteur.
