The issue

Issue: On certain trucks, the nuts that attach the windshield wiper arms may not have been tightened properly. This could cause the wipers to slip and not clear the windshield properly. Safety Risk: Windshield wipers that do not work properly could affect a driver's visibility. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to tighten the nuts on the windshield wiper arms.

Problème : Sur certains camions, les écrous qui fixent les bras d'essuie-glace pourraient ne pas avoir été serrés correctement. Cela pourrait entraîner un glissement des essuie-glaces et ne pas nettoyer le pare-brise correctement. Risques pour la sécurité : Les essuie-glaces qui ne fonctionnent pas correctement risquent d'affecter la visibilité du conducteur. Cela pourrait augmenter les risques de collision. Mesures correctives : FCA Canada doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour faire serrer les écrous des bras d'essuie-glace.
