The issue

Issue: On certain trucks, the windshield wiper motor may fail. If this happens, the windshield wipers will not work. Safety Risk: Windshield wipers that do not work could affect a driver's visibility and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to replace the windshield wiper motor.

Problème : Sur certains camions, le moteur des essuie-glaces pourrait être défectueux. Si cela se produisait, les essuie-glaces pourraient ne pas fonctionner. Risques pour la sécurité : Des essuie-glaces défectueux peuvent nuire à la visibilité du conducteur et augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Ford doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur camion chez un concessionnaire pour remplacer le moteur des essuie-glaces.
