The issue

Issue: On certain trucks, some controls are not identified with the required symbol(s) or word(s). Specifically, the identifications for the HVAC fan control, the position side marker light control, the master lighting switch control and the turn signal control may be missing or mislabeled. Canadian regulations require the use of certain symbols and words for controls. This can help to avoid driver confusion. Safety Risk: These small errors do not affect safety or the function of the controls. Corrective Actions: This is not a recall. Mack has made changes to ensure that the controls for all new trucks are identified with the required symbol(s) and word(s).

Problème : Sur certains camions, certaines commandes ne sont pas identifiées avec les symboles ou les mots requis. Plus particulièrement, les commandes du ventilateur du système de chauffage, ventilation et air climatisé, des feux de gabarit, de l'interrupteur d'éclairage principal et des clignotants pourraient ne pas être identifiées ou être mal identifiées. La réglementation canadienne exige que certains symboles et mots soient utilisés pour les commandes. Ils peuvent aider à éviter la confusion chez les conducteurs.
