The issue

Issue: On certain trucks, the stainless steel cover(s) on the hood bezel(s) may not be properly attached. As a result, a bezel cover could detach from the truck while driving. Safety Risk: A metal cover that detaches from the truck could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a DTNA authorized service facility to replace the hood bezel covers.

Problème : Sur certains camions, le ou les couvercles en acier inoxydable de la ou des prises d'air latérales du capot pourraient avoir été mal fixés. Par conséquent, ils pourraient se détacher du camion pendant la conduite. Risques pour la sécurité : Un couvercle métallique qui se détacherait du camion pourrait créer un danger pour les autres personnes et augmenter le risque d'accident. Mesures correctives : Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur camion à un centre de service autorisé DTNA pour faire remplacer les couvercles de prise d'air latérale du capot.
