The issue

Issue: On a small number of vehicles, the high-voltage battery pack may not be properly sealed. As a result, water could enter the battery pack. If this happens, the vehicle may not start or there could be a loss of power to the wheels. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.

Problème : Sur un petit nombre de véhicules, la batterie haute tension peut ne pas avoir été correctement scellée. Par conséquent, de l'eau pourrait pénétrer dans la batterie. Si cela se produisait, le véhicule pourrait ne pas démarrer ou il pourrait y avoir une perte de puissance aux roues. Risques pour la sécurité : Une perte de puissance aux roues pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : General Motors doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste. Les mesures correctives pour le présent rappel sont en cours d'élaboration.
