The issue

Issue: On certain RV trailers, a cross-member that supports the waste holding tank(s) may not have been properly installed. As a result, the tank(s) could fall and detach from the trailer. Safety Risk: A waste holding tank that falls on the road could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your trailer to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, relocate the cross-member that supports the waste holding tank(s).

Problème : Sur certaines caravanes, une traverse qui soutient le ou les réservoirs d'eaux usées pourrait avoir été mal installée. Par conséquent, le ou les réservoirs pourraient tomber et se détacher de la caravane. Risques pour la sécurité : Un réservoir d'eaux usées qui tombe pourrait créer un danger pour les autres usagers de la route et augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Forest River doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur caravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter et, au besoin, déplacer la traverse qui soutient le ou les réservoirs d'eaux usées.
