The issue

Issue: On certain motorhomes and RV trailers, the fasteners that attach the solar panel may loosen or pull out. If this happens, a solar panel could separate from the vehicle while driving. Safety Risk: A solar panel that detaches from the vehicle could create a hazard for other road users and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome or RV trailer to a dealership to install an added bracket to secure the solar panel. If the solar panel has detached, a replacement will be installed.

Problème : Sur certaines caravanes et autocaravanes, les attaches qui fixent le panneau solaire pourraient se desserrer ou s'arracher. Si cela se produisait, un panneau solaire pourrait se détacher du véhicule pendant la conduite. Risques pour la sécurité : Un panneau solaire qui se détache du véhicule peut créer un danger pour les autres usagers de la route et augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Forest River doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur caravane ou leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire afin de faire installer un support supplémentaire pour fixer le panneau solaire. Si le panneau solaire s'est détaché, un panneau de remplacement sera installé.
