The issue

Issue: The owner's manual for certain side-by-side UTVs is missing information for how a person can contact Transport Canada to report a safety concern. Canadian regulations require all companies to provide this information in the owner's manual. Safety Risk: Not being aware of how to report a safety concern could delay the identification of a safety problem. Corrective Actions: Kubota will notify owners by mail and provide you with an owner's manual insert with the contact information for Transport Canada.

Problème : Le manuel du propriétaire de certains véhicules utilitaires tout-terrains (VUTT) de type côte à côte ne contient pas d'information sur la façon dont une personne peut communiquer avec Transports Canada pour signaler un problème de sécurité. La réglementation canadienne exige que toutes les entreprises fournissent ces informations dans le manuel du propriétaire. Risques pour la sécurité : Le fait de ne pas savoir comment signaler un problème de sécurité pourrait retarder l'identification d'un problème de sécurité. Mesures correctives : Kubota doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur faire parvenir un encart pour le manuel du propriétaire avec les coordonnées de Transports Canada.
