The issue

Issue: On certain vehicles, water could leak into the strobe light assembly. If this happens, the strobe light could short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Altec Industries will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect the strobe light assembly, and replace it if necessary.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules, de l'eau pourrait s'infiltrer dans l'assemblage de la lumière stroboscopique. Si cela se produisait, la lumière stroboscopique pourrait subir un court-circuit. Risques pour la sécurité : Un court-circuit pourrait créer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Altec Industries doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur fournir des instructions sur la façon d'inspecter la lumière stroboscopique et la remplacer, au besoin.
