The issue

Issue: On a small number of vehicles, the wrong airbag may have been installed on the steering wheel after it was replaced from yoke steering to a round steering wheel, or vice versa. Safety Risk: An incorrect airbag could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Tesla will notify owners by e-mail and advise you to contact Tesla Service to arrange for an inspection and, if necessary, the replacement of the steering wheel airbag.

Problème : Sur un petit nombre de véhicules, le mauvais coussin gonflable pourrait avoir été installé sur le volant après le remplacement d'un volant Yoke par un volant rond, ou l'inverse. Risques pour la sécurité : Un mauvais coussin gonflable pourrait augmenter le risque de blessures en cas d'accident. Mesures correctives : Tesla doit aviser les propriétaires par courriel et leur demander de communiquer avec un centre de services Tesla (Tesla Service) pour planifier une inspection et, au besoin, le remplacement du coussin gonflable du volant.
