The issue

Issue: On certain buses, a wiring problem with the floor-mounted turn signal switch may cause the turn signals not to work. Safety Risk: Turn signals that don't work may cause a person not to recognize when a driver intends to turn or change lanes and could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Action: Nova Bus will notify owners by mail and provide you with directions for how to inspect and repair the floor-mounted turn signal switch wiring and splice blocks.

Problème : Sur certains autobus, un problème de câblage au niveau de l'interrupteur des clignotants monté au plancher pourrait empêcher les clignotants de fonctionner. Risques pour la sécurité : Des clignotants qui ne fonctionnent pas pourraient empêcher une personne de reconnaître quand un autre conducteur a l'intention de tourner ou de changer de voie, ce qui peut augmenter le risque d'accident. Mesures correctives : Nova Bus doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur fournir des directives sur la façon d'inspecter et de réparer le câblage et les blocs d'épissure de l'interrupteur des clignotants montés au plancher.
