The issue

Issue: On certain vehicles, there may be a problem with the steering gear. As a result, there could be a sudden change in steering feel and an increase in steering effort. Safety Risk: A sudden change in steering effort could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mazda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the spring engaging the worm gear in the steering gear assembly and reapply grease to the gear teeth.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules, il peut y avoir un problème avec le boîtier de direction. Cela pourrait causer un changement soudain de la sensibilité au braquage et augmenter l'effort nécessaire pour tourner le volant du véhicule. Risques pour la sécurité : Un changement soudain du niveau d'effort à exercer sur le volant pourrait accroître les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Mazda doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demandera d'amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire afin de remplacer le ressort qui pousse l'engrenage à vis sans fin dans le boîtier de direction et d'appliquer de nouveau de la graisse sur les dents d'engrenage.
