The issue

Issue: On certain vehicles, the windshield and/or the rear window may not be properly attached. As a result, the front airbag(s) may not inflate properly in a crash. Safety Risk: An airbag that doesn't inflate properly could create an increased risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Porsche will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the windshield and/or rear window.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules, le pare-brise et/ou la lunette arrière pourraient ne pas être fixés correctement . Par conséquent, le ou les coussins gonflables avant pourraient ne pas se gonfler correctement lors d'un accident. Risques pour la sécurité : Un coussin gonflable qui ne se gonfle pas correctement pourrait créer un risque accru de blessures en cas d'accident. Mesures correctives : Porsche doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter et, au besoin, remplacer le pare-brise et/ou la lunette arrière.
