The issue

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the power wire for the distribution panel may not have proper circuit protection. As a result, the wire could overheat and melt. Safety Risk: Wiring that overheats and melts can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to rewire the power wire to the distribution panel properly.

Problème : Sur certaines caravanes, le câble d'alimentation du panneau de distribution pourrait ne pas être bien protégé. Par conséquent, le câble pourrait surchauffer et fondre. Risques pour la sécurité : Un câblage qui surchauffe et fond pourrait créer un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Forest River doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur caravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire rebrancher correctement le câble d'alimentation au panneau de distribution.
