The issue

Issue: On a small number of RV trailers, the emergency exit window may not have been installed on the correct side of the trailer. As a result, you may not be able to escape from the trailer in an emergency if the entry door is blocked. Safety Risk: An emergency exit installed in the wrong location could increase the risk of injury in an emergency. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your trailer to a dealership to install an emergency exit window.

Problème : Sur un petit nombre de caravanes, une fenêtre de sortie de secours pourrait ne pas avoir été installée du bon côté de la caravane. Par conséquent, il pourrait être impossible de sortir de la caravane en cas d'urgence si la porte d'entrée est bloquée. Risques pour la sécurité : Une sortie de secours installée au mauvais endroit pourrait accroître le risque de blessure en cas d'urgence. Mesures correctives : Forest River doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur caravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire installer une fenêtre de sortie de secours.
