The issue

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the receiver for the removable step on the side of the trailer may not have been attached properly. As a result, the receiver could detach from the bracket and cause a person to fall. Safety risk: A step that detaches could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to inspect and, as necessary, reattach the receiver for the removable step.

Problème : Sur certaines caravanes, le récepteur de la marche amovible sur le côté de la caravane pourrait avoir été mal fixé. Par conséquent, le récepteur pourrait se détacher du support et causer la chute d'une personne. Risques pour la sécurité : Une marche qui se détache pourrait créer un risque de blessure. Mesures correctives : Forest River doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur caravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter et, au besoin, refixer le récepteur de la marche amovible.
