The issue

This recall was replaced by Transport Canada recall no. 2025-341. Issue: On certain transit buses, a software problem could cause the instrument cluster not to work. As a result, you may not be able to see certain information about the bus, including the speedometer, certain warning lights and malfunction tell-tales. This problem could also cause a loss of power to the wheels. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a speedometer, warnings lights and tell-tales that don't work properly could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Nova Bus will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to update the instrument cluster software.

Ce rappel a été remplacé par le rappel numéro 2025-341 de Transports Canada. Problème : Sur certains autobus de transport en commun, un problème logiciel pourrait faire en sorte que le groupe d'instruments ne fonctionne pas. Par conséquent, il se pourrait que vous ne puissiez pas voir certaines informations concernant l'autobus, y compris l'indicateur de vitesse et certains voyants et indicateurs de mauvais fonctionnement. Ce problème pourrait aussi causer une perte de puissance aux roues. Risques pour la sécurité : Une perte de puissance soudaine aux roues pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. De plus, un indicateur de vitesse, des voyants et des indicateurs de mauvais fonctionnement qui ne fonctionnent pas correctement pourraient accroître les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Nova Bus doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur fournir des instructions pour mettre à jour le logiciel du groupe d'instruments.
