The issue

Issue: On certain motorcycles, the primary drive gear bolt may break. If this happens, the engine could stall suddenly and cause the rear wheel to lock up while riding. Safety Risk: A rear wheel that locks up suddenly could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorcycle to a dealership to replace the primary drive gear bolt.

Problème: Sur certaines motocyclettes, le boulon d'engrenage d'entraînement principal pourrait casser. Si cela se produisait, le moteur pourrait caler soudainement pendant la conduite et la roue arrière pourrait se bloquer. Risques pour la sécurité: Une roue arrière qui se bloque soudainement pourrait causer une perte de contrôle et augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives: Honda doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur motocyclette chez un concessionnaire pour faire remplacer le boulon d'engrenage principal.
