The issue

Issue: On certain vehicles, the brake booster input rod may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the input rod could detach from the brake booster and cause a loss of brakes. Safety Risk: A loss of brakes can increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, as necessary, tighten the brake booster input rod connection or replace the brake booster.

Problème : Sur un véhicule, la tige de commande de servofrein pourrait avoir été mal serrée. Par conséquent, la tige de commande pourrait se séparer du servofrein et causer une perte de la capacité de freinage. Risque pour la sécurité : Une perte de la capacité de freinage peut augmenter le risque d'accident. Mesures correctives : FCA Canada doit aviser les propriétaires par écrit et leur demander d'amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter et, au besoin, serrer la tige de commande de servofrein ou remplacer le servofrein.
