The issue

Issue: On certain trucks, the windshield wiper linkage could corrode and seize. If this happens, the windshield wipers may not work. Safety Risk: Windshield wipers that don't work could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the windshield wiper linkage.

Problème: Sur certains camions, la tringlerie des essuie-glaces pourrait se corroder et se bloquer. Si cela se produisait, les essuie-glaces pourraient ne pas fonctionner. Risque pour la sécurité: Des essuie-glaces qui ne fonctionnent pas pourraient réduire la visibilité et augmenter le risque d'accident. Mesures correctives: Ford doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur camion chez un concessionnaire pour remplacer la tringlerie des essuie-glaces.
