The issue

Issue: Over time, the right-front brake air tube could become damaged by contact with the passenger-side fender. If this happens, air could leak from the tube and the truck could pull to the left while braking. Safety Risk: Reduced braking could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Hino will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the brake air tube. The dealer will also install a bracket and clip to secure the air tube.

Problème : Au fil du temps, le tube d'air du frein avant droit pourrait être endommagé par un contact avec l'aile du côté passager. Si cela se produisait, de l'air pourrait fuir du tube et le camion pourrait tirer vers la gauche lors du freinage. Risques pour la sécurité : Une capacité de freinage réduite pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Hino doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur camion chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter et, au besoin, remplacer le tube d'air de frein. Le concessionnaire installera aussi un support et une attache pour fixer le tube d'air.
