The issue

Issue: On certain RV trailers, the bunkroom door may not fully open when the sofa bed is used. As a result, this could delay occupants from escaping the trailer in an emergency. Safety Risk: An exit door that can't be opened could slow your exit from the trailer in an emergency. This could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Forest River will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to modify the bunkroom door.

Problème : Sur certaines caravanes, la porte de la chambre à lits superposés pourrait ne pas s'ouvrir complètement lorsque le sofa-lit est utilisé. Par conséquent, cela pourrait retarder l'évacuation des occupants de la caravane en cas d'urgence. Risques pour la sécurité : Une porte de sortie qui ne s'ouvre pas pourrait ralentir l'évacuation de la caravane en cas d'urgence. Cela pourrait augmenter le risque de blessure. Mesures correctives : Forest River doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur caravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire modifier la porte de la chambre à lits superposés.
