The issue

Issue: On certain vehicles, the support for the drive belt's lower idler could break. If this happens, the drive belt could fail and cause a loss of power to the rear wheel. Safety Risk: A loss of power to the rear wheel could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: BRP will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the support for the drive belt's lower idler.

Problème : Sur certains véhicules, le support du tendeur inférieur de la courroie d'entraînement pourrait se briser. Si cela se produisait, la courroie d'entraînement pourrait faire défaut et causer une perte de puissance à la roue arrière. Risques pour la sécurité : Une perte de puissance à la roue arrière pourrait accroître le risque d'accident. Mesures correctives : BRP doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour faire remplacer le support du tendeur inférieur de la courroie d'entraînement.
