The issue
Issue: On one school bus, the reinforcements under the floor may not have been installed. As a result, the seats and/or seat belts could detach in a crash. Safety Risk: A seat and/or seat belt that detaches could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Action: International Motors will notify the owner by mail and advise them to take their school bus to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, install reinforcements under the floor.

Problème : Sur un autobus scolaire, les renforts sous le plancher pourraient ne pas avoir été installés. Par conséquent, les sièges et/ou les ceintures de sécurité pourraient se détacher en cas d'accident. Risques pour la sécurité : Un siège ou une ceinture de sécurité qui se détache pourrait augmenter les risques de blessures lors d'un accident. Mesures correctives : International Motors doit aviser le propriétaire par la poste et lui demander d'amener son autobus scolaire chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter et, au besoin, installer des renforts sous le plancher.
