The issue

Issue: On certain transit buses, the circular window glass on the interior door separating the driver from the passengers may not have the required marking. As a result, the missing information could lead you to install the wrong type of glass. Canadian regulations require a marking to identify the type of glass used. Safety Risk: An incorrect window glass could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Action: Nova Bus will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to replace the glass panel with one that has the correct markings.

Problème : Sur certains autobus de transport en commun, la vitre circulaire de la porte intérieure séparant le conducteur des passagers pourrait ne pas avoir l'inscription requise. Par conséquent, l'information manquante pourrait mener à l'installation du mauvais type de verre. La réglementation canadienne exige l'inscription du type de verre utilisé. Risques pour la sécurité : L'installation du mauvais type de verre pourrait réduire la visibilité et pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Nova Bus doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur fournir les instructions pour remplacer le panneau de verre par un panneau portant la bonne inscription.
