The issue

Issue: On certain motorhomes, the solar panel mounting brackets could loosen or break. If this happens, the solar panel could separate from the vehicle while driving. Safety Risk: A solar panel that detaches from the vehicle could create a hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Thor Motor Coach will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the solar panel mounting brackets.

Problème : Sur certaines autocaravanes, les supports de fixation du panneau solaire pourraient se desserrer ou se briser. Si cela se produisait, le panneau solaire pourrait se séparer du véhicule pendant la conduite. Risques pour la sécurité : Un panneau solaire qui se détache du véhicule pourrait créer un danger pour les autres et augmenter les risques d'accident. Mesures correctives : Thor Motor Coach doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire pour faire inspecter et, au besoin, remplacer les supports de fixation du panneau solaire.
