The issue

Issue: On certain transit buses, the plastic glazing panel on the interior door separating the driver from the passengers may not have the required marking. As a result, the missing information could lead you to install the wrong panel. Canadian regulations require a marking to identify the type of glazing panel used. Safety Risk: An incorrect panel could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Nova Bus will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to replace the plastic glazing panel with one that has the correct markings.

Problème : Sur certains autobus de transport en commun, le panneau vitré en plastique de la porte intérieure séparant le conducteur des passagers pourrait ne pas comporter le marquage requis. Par conséquent, ces informations manquantes pourraient vous amener à installer un mauvais panneau. La réglementation canadienne exige un marquage permettant d'identifier le type de panneau vitré utilisé. Risques pour la sécurité : Un panneau incorrect pourrait réduire la visibilité et augmenter le risque d'accident. Mesures correctives : Nova Bus doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur fournir des instructions sur la façon de remplacer le panneau vitré en plastique par un autre comportant les marquages corrects.
