The issue

Issue: On a small number of motorhomes, the circuit board(s) for the rooftop ventilation fans may not have been manufactured correctly and could overheat. Note: This recall only affects certain motorhomes equipped with MaxxAir rooftop ventilation fans. Safety Risk: A circuit board that overheats could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Grand Design RV will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your motorhome to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the ventilation fan circuit board(s).

Problème : Sur un petit nombre d'autocaravanes, le ou les circuits imprimés des ventilateurs de toit pourraient ne pas avoir été fabriqués correctement et pourraient surchauffer. Remarque : Ce rappel concerne seulement certaines autocaravanes équipées de ventilateurs de toit MaxxAir. Risques pour la sécurité : Un circuit imprimé qui surchauffe pourrait entraîner un risque d'incendie. Mesures correctives : Grand Design RV doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur autocaravane chez un concessionnaire afin de faire inspecter et, au besoin, remplacer le ou les circuits imprimés des ventilateurs de toit.
