The wiring harness near the “D” pillar may be damaged by adjacent components. This can disable the window bag, reducing occupant protection in a crash. The damage may also increase electrical resistance, creating a potential hotspot and a possible fire risk. The product does not comply with the Regulation on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles.
