The issue

Certain vehicles were built without the rear air conditioning system blower speed control resistor knockout plug completly removed from the A/C evaporator inlet case. Under certain conditions, a partially removed knockout plug resting against the resistor coils could ignite and result in a vehicle fire that may cause personal injury.

Sur certains véhicules, la pastille défonçable du logement du rhéostat de commande du ventilateur du climatiseur peut ne pas avoir été complètement arrachée du boîtier de l'évaporateur. Cette pastille peut, dans certaines conditions, toucher le bobinage du rhéostat et prendre feu, provoquant ainsi un incendie qui peut entraîner des blessures aux personnes.
