The issue
On certain vehicles equipped with 5 litre engines a wiring harness located under the instrument panel may not have been properly secured in its retainer. Under certain conditions, if the wiring harness is not secured,it could interfere with the accelerator lever preventing the throttle from returning to the closed/idle position when the accelerator pedal is released.this Could result in a crash without prior warning.

Sur certains véhicules équipés d'un mteur de 5 litres, un faisceau de câbles passant sous le tableau de bord peut ne pas être convenablement retenu par ses attaches. Dans ce cas et sous certaines conditions ce faisceau peut gêner le levier de l'accélérateur et empêcher le papillon des gaz de reprendre la position du ralenti quand le conducteur lâche la pédale. Un accident est alors possible.
