The issue

THE ATTACHMENT SCREWS FOR THE THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR COULD LOOSEN AND BACK OUT ALLOWING THE THROTTLE SENSOR TO MOVE AWAY FROM THE THROTTLE SHAFT. A LOOSE SENSOR COULD PREVENT THE THROTTLE FROM RETURNING TO THE IDLE POSITION WHICH IN TURN COULD ADVERSELY AFFECT VEHICLE CONTROL. CORRECTION: ATTACHMENT SCREWS WILL BE REPLACED USING SCREWS WITH PRE-APPLIED ADHESIVE THAT WILL BE TIGHTENED TO A HIGHER TORQUE SPECIFICATION.

Les vis de fixation du capteur de position du papillon des gaz risquent de se desserrer et de se dégager entraînant ainsi le déplacement du capteur de l'arbre de papillon des gaz. Un capteur desserré empêcherait le papillon des gaz de retourner au relenti et nuirait à la bonne maîtrise du véhicule.
