The issue

VEHICLES WERE MANUFACTURED WITH SIDE SKIRT ASSEMBLIES ATTACHED WITH FASTENERS THAT MAY FAIL. IF THE FASTENERS FAIL, THE SIDE SKIRT ASSEMBLY MAY BECOME DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE WITHOUT WARNING. PERSONAL INJURY COULD RESULT TO PERSONS STANDING ON THE STEP AT THE TIME OF FAILURE, OR, IF THE VEHICLE IS IN USE, THE ASSEMBLY COULD FALL ONTO THE ROADWAY AND POTENTIALLY CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. CORRECTION: TWO SUPPORT ANGLES AND ADDITIONAL FASTENERS WILL BE INSTALLED ON THE SIDE SKIRT ASSEMBLY.

Les attaches de la jupe latérale des camions peuvent se briser. Dans ce cas, la jupe se détache intempestivement du véhicule, risquant de blesser les personnes qui se trouvent sur le marche-pied, ou de causer un accident, si elle tombe sur la route lorsque le camion est en marche.
