The issue

THE POWER STEERING PUMP MAY HAVE A RIDGE INSIDE THE ALUMINUM HOUSING. THE RIDGE MAY DETACH AND BECOME WEDGED IN THE RELIEF VALVE, KEEPING IT OPEN. THIS WOULD RESULT IN LOSS OF POWER ASSISTANCE WITHOUT WARNING. CORRECTION: THE POWER STEERING PUMP WILL BE REPLACED.

Description (français)

Il peut y avoir une saillie à l'intérieur du carter en aluminum de la pompe de servodirection. Cette saillie peut se détacher de la surface intérieure et se loger dans le clapet de sûreté, le gardant ainsi ouvert. Il pourrait en résulter une perte non prévisible de puissance de la servodirection.
