The issue
THE TWO BRACKETS USED TO MOUNT THE TILT/TELESCOPING STEERING COLUMN TO THE DASH MAY FAIL AS THE RESULT OF FORE AND AFT FATIGUE STRESS. SHOULD BOTH BRACKETS FAIL, THE OPERATOR COULD LOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AND A CRASH COULD OCCUR. CORRECTION: NEW REDESIGNED STEERING COLUMN MOUNTING BRACKETS WILL BE INSTALLED.

IL se peut que les deux supports qui servent à fixer la colonne de direction réglable et télescopique au tableau de bord se brisent à la suite de contraintes de fatigue à l'avant et en arrière. Si les deux supports venaient à briser, le conducteur purrait perdre la maîtrise de son véhicule et avoir un accident.
